This artifact enters with X charge counters on it. Whenever a player casts a spell with mana value equal to the number of charge counters on this artifact, counter that spell.

Replicate {1} (When you cast this spell, copy it for each time you paid its replicate cost. You may choose new targets for the copies.) Counter target triggered ability or colorless spell.

Split second (As long as this spell is on the stack, players can't cast spells or activate abilities that aren't mana abilities.) Choose target card in a graveyard other than a basic land card. Search its owner's graveyard, hand, and library for all cards with the same name as that card and exile them. Then that player shuffles.

Creatures entering don't cause abilities to trigger.

Nonbasic lands are Islands.

As an additional cost to cast this spell, pay X life. All creatures get -X/-X until end of turn.

+2: Look at the top card of target player's library. You may put that card on the bottom of that player's library. 0: Draw three cards, then put two cards from your hand on top of your library in any order. −1: Return target creature to its owner's hand. −12: Exile all cards from target player's library, then that player shuffles their hand into their library.
