The Cheapest MTG Arena Deck to RANK on Ladder
Looking for a dirt-cheap but dangerously explosive deck on MTG Arena? Say hello to 8 Wack, a classic archetype reimagined for the digital age—without a single rare. That's right. This version of 8 Wack costs almost nothing to build but can still run circles around unsuspecting opponents. It's fast, it's aggressive, and it wins games before your opponent even knows what's happening. The Deck At the core of the strategy is a simple philosophy: flood the board with creatures, then slam down a hasty finisher like Goblin Bushwhacker or Reckless Bushwhacker to swing in for lethal. Let's break down how it works and why it's the best cheap MTG Arena deck around.

Explore the unique Aetherspark in Magic: The Gathering's Historic Brawl. Discover its synergy with colorless creatures, ramp strategies, and Eldrazi payoffs.
Brawl Break: The Aetherspark
The Aetherspark is one of the goofiest types lines on any Magic: the Gathering card we've ever seen before. A Legendary Artifact Planeswalker – Equipment is certainly a novel string of words , and because the word “planeswalker” is in there, the card is eligible to be a Brawl commander. So, of course, I built it. How to Even Begin?
Explore the Radiant Lotus Combo in Standard Magic: The Gathering. Discover artifact synergies, mana generation, and strategic plays for Best of 1 matches.
Radiant Lotus Combo in Standard
The best cards in Standard are making it difficult to brew these days, but where there's a will, there's a way. The current meta is dominated by "This Town Ain't Big Enough" and "Up the Beanstalk" piles, but other cards like Simulacrum Synthesizer and The Mightstone and Weakstone are powerhouse value engines in their own right if we can find a shell for them that works. We also have an absolute haymaker in Radiant Lotus that I'm finally willing to brew with and, I've got to say, I'm impressed. The Wincon
Discover our first impressions of Tarkir: Dragonstorm with highlights on new cards - Mox Jasper & Stormscale Scion. Explore the impacts on MTG Standard play
Our First Impressions of Tarkir: Dragonstorm
Last week, Wizards of the Coast gave us a first look at the next Standard release, Tarkir: Dragonstorm, and that gives us an opportunity to analyze, overreact, and wildly speculate on what the future holds, which is an opportunity I rarely pass up. This first look was only nine cards from the Standard set itself, but it includes some eye-catching mechanics, so let's get into it. For this article, I plan to analyze how these cards will impact Standard first and foremost. The Headliner
Discover how the Golgari Midrange deck with Phyrexian Obliterator dominated the MTG Standard Pro Tour. Uncover strategies and cards for competitive play.
OLD SCHOOL Card CRUSHES the MTG Standard Pro Tour!
During its debut, Phyrexian Obliterator was not a dominant force. Still, as years passed, new cards were printed and finally, at no other than Pro Tour Aetherdrift, this crazy Golgari Phyrexian Obliterator build managed to go 9-1 during the Standard portion at the hands of Christoffer Larsen. TODAY I will go over the key cards in the deck and uncover the main plan behind it! Golgari Midrange Standard Deck Overview For those who may not know, Phyrexian Obliterator is a four -mana 5/5 with a crazy ability: whenever it's dealt damage, the source controller sacrifices that many permanents. Not only does this mean that it can bypass burn spells, but also combat damage, and this deck is centered on maximizing its potential, along with a sneaky and clever card that will help us do devastating damage to our opponents. Let's find out how.
Explore six innovative brews for Magic: The Gathering's Standard Pauper format. Dive into budget-friendly decks that promote creativity and strategic gameplay.
Standard Pauper: 6 Brews!
This week, MTG Arena's Midweek Magic event might have been a little more special than usual for some, because we finally got to try out Standard Pauper! I have always found Pauper (commons only) and Artisan (commons and uncommons only) extremely interesting and stimulating for several reasons that I can summarize as follows: They are fresh and new, and it’s not possible to netdeck the strongest lists right away, thus creating an unexplored metagame and leaving room for inventiveness and creativity like the Magic of the past.
